Born into the tasteful profession of the refinement of our alter egos, Valerie Brown conformed this artistry through attending DuVardo's Academy of Hair Design, located in St. Louis.

  The blueprint of her passion began with Hair Suite Too, in the  elite Central West End. Here, Valerie had the opportunity to mold her foundation working alongside one of the most educated stylist in St. Louis for two and a half years. As her clientele expanded, Valerie's journey took her to The Color Bar. She then began working with an ethnically diverse and eclectic clientele. During this two years, her refinement emerged. Through extensive education, determination, and as her clients would say "meticulousness," Valerie advanced to new levels.

  September 2007 filtered a new vision. Valerie shared her journey with Steven Lacy at Christopher Steven's the Salon. During this period, Valerie became an accessory within the fashion and advertising industries. She caught the eye of the ingenious Stephen Garnett, one of the top photographers in St. Louis. She embarked in his vision, styling hair for various reputable models and agencies such as Mother Model Management (St. Louis), Next (NY, Milan), and Centro (Chicago). As well, styling hair for numerous fashion shows and promotional companies.

  Throughout Valerie's experience in this industry, she has incorporated her inspiration along side modern style to generate an unparalleled definition of hair. Teaching her clients the most essential key to achieving remarkable hair, Valerie educates them on the health of their hair. Each client has the knowledge when they leave on how and why each step is taken to achieve their style. Her endless knowledge in Redken color, cutting technique, and style has created an extraordinary definition of hair.
